Stability leather preferences are personal — and leg length varies — but here's a general guide to help you choose. The best way to ensure a great fit is to compare the measurements to your current stirrup leathers. Keep in mind: These are 100% leather, so they will soften and stretch slightly with use. If they feel a little short at first, they likely just need time to break in.
- Up to 5'1" – 115 cm (45")
- 5'2" to 5'6" – 125 cm (49")
- 5'7" to 5'10" – 135 cm (53")
- 5'11" and up – 145 cm (57")
These lengths are based on jumpers/eventers. Dressage riders typically use longer leathers.

I have ridden in my wide stirrup leathers for 5+ years and they are still in perfect working condition. The leathers are high quality and very well made. They have perfectly molded to my leg and are *chefs kiss* to ride in. I absolutely love them!
Excellent product. No bulk under leg or tail slot. Supporting small business is a major plus.
I love the leathers and the quality is outstanding. The whole shopping process with Millbrook was likewise great and the delivery was prompt.
Their measurement is inaccurate, I ordered what is stated to be a 53” stirrup leather but they are longer than my current 54” stirrup leathers and are much too long for me to even add holes to or use in any way. I will have to try to resell even tho they were never used.
I love them!!! So much better then my old ones and very comfortable!
